Is your child or teen glued to their smartphone or tablet?
It can be used to open up a world of reading with all-new online resources from the Wyoming State Library.
Since the onslaught of the pandemic, the State Library has purchased nearly $1 million in cloudLibrary downloadable titles for young readers: 11,190 e-audiobooks and 35,042 e-books, per a Jan. 11 release from the Wyoming Administration and Information’s State Library Division.
These resources are accessible at no cost to kids, parents or guardians, and all that’s needed is a library card from any Wyoming public or community college library.
“It’s a tremendous resource for students to keep them learning,” said Jamie Markus, Wyoming state librarian. “Our goal was to offer something of interest to every young reader.”
